Also known as the Eames RAR, The Eames rocker features a molded plastic shell that displays organic shapes and sleek lines. These Molded Plastic chairs by Charles and ray Eames were the very first one-piece plastic chair offered without any upholstery or some sort of covering. It sits beautifully in many places in the home and in all kinds of decor.Charles and Ray Eames believed that comfort was as important as looks. So comfort is built in. The shell seats have high, flexible backs, deep seat pockets, and waterfall front edges so you can sit comfortably even for extended periods. The Eames rocker is also available in 10 different colors, so introducing this iconic rocker into your home is simple.
The Eames molded plastic armchair with the rocker base was one of the three original armchair bases, consisting of solid maple rockers attached to wire struts.
The Eames rocker is available in 10 different shell colors: White, Black, Red, Blue, Green, Sparrow, Aqua Sky, Java, Wafer and Greystone
Bases are available is either black or chrome with walnut or maple rails.
