Portrait was honored as the winner of a design competition held by the National Museum of Norway, which called for a welcoming, multifunctional chair for the museum’s public spaces. The jury lauded Portrait as “a beautiful chair that adds a seductive softness and elegance to the room.” It’s naturally generous and comfortable, marked by precise execution and refined details that put a new twist on the ubiquitous metal-framed chair with wood seat and back. Stacks up to five high.
