Referencing Great Britain’s rich maritime history, the Original BTC/Davey Lighting Weatherproof Ship’s Well Hooded Wall Light features a solid brass structure with a caged glass diffuser and protective hood. Given a weathered patina, the historical design stirs images of seafaring vessels from the 20th century, as if salvaged from an old ship yard. The metal structure is skillfully crafted in to the oblong shape, shielding the clear glass and light source as it sits slightly away from the wall.

Founded in 1990 by Peter Bowles, Original BTC is a lighting company rooted in national pride, manufacturing classic and industrial British design for contemporary homes. Encouraging local enterprise, all products are exclusively produced in the UK, utilizing factories in Oxford, Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent to hand-produce and assemble the fine bone china, aluminum and lighting components used in Original BTC fixtures.
