Designed by George Nelson
The Nelson Thin Edge Cabinet—with two doors and an adjustable shelf—has countless uses throughout your home. It can be used as a surface for a lamp in the living room or foyer, sideboard for a small dining space, or a storage piece in the office. Choose from among a variety of beautiful and sustainable wood veneers.
This is obviously a George Nelson design—from the polished aluminum legs to the refined mid-century look of the piece as a whole. Choose pulls in white or silver aluminum alloy and the wood veneer that fits your décor.
The cabinet is available in santos palisander—a sustainable wood that shares the rich, deep grain of rosewood—and also in walnut, white ash, and a combination of contrasting light and dark veneers.
The Nelson Thin Edge Cabinet is made of 64 percent to 85 percent recycled materials and is 88 percent to 91 percent recyclable at the end of its useful life. It’s more likely that should you ever need to “recycle” this cabinet, you’ll do so by giving it to someone in your family or to a very close friend.
Select either a matte black finished back for use against a wall, or a fully veneered back if you will be using your cabinet in a freestanding location.
