 Eco-Dematerialised Design

Herman Miller and Yves Behar are big on environmental responsibility in design. With SAYL, we went a step farther, starting out by thinking about what could be removed from a simple side chair.

The result was a lightweight chair that is 92 percent recyclable. Structural components are hollowed out, reducing the weight and volume of material.

As affordable as it is inventive, SAYL proves our belief that a reasonably priced chair can be well designed and include leading-edge ergonomics. From the beginning, our goal was to make a high-quality, beautifully designed, comfortable work and side chairs that lived up to our standards and were also affordable. SAYL is that chair.
