The original. The 1006 Navy chair was originally created in 1944 for the US Navy as a lightweight, non-corrosive, fire resistant and super strong chair for ships and submarines. All chairs and stools are still built by hand from recycled aluminum in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Outdoor approved. Small carbon footprint. Guaranteed for life. Standard glides: soft plastic TPU glides for all-around use, including outdoor use. Alternative glides available at an upcharge.
