Product description
The Arne Jacobsen City Hall Wall Clock was first designed in 1956 for Rødovre Town Hall in Denmark. Its dial reflects his functional, minimalist approach: slim baton hour markers, a ring of small minute dots and plain hands, with no numerals to interrupt the face. The current version is faithful to the original drawings.
An aluminum case frames a concave mineral glass front, so the clock appears to hover on the wall, and the body is completed in ABS. The classic White/Black version comes in Small, Medium and Large. Two exclusive editions are available in Medium and Large: Green, with a green dial and matt gold case, hands and hour markers, and Blue, with a blue dial and polished silver case, hands and hour markers. Rosendahl lists the Green and Blue editions with a Japanese movement.
