USA (1919 - 2006):
Warren Platner was an American Architect and designer. He graduated from Cornel University in 1941. Between the years of 1945 and 1950 we worked for Raymond Loewy and I.M. Pei. Platner was also part of the Ero Saarinen office from 1960-1965. During this time he produced his seminal collection of chairs and ottomans still produced by Knoll today. In 1967 he opened up his own practice called Warren Platner Associates in New Haven Connecticut. His firm was responsible for some of the most spectacular interiors of the 60's, 70's and 80's.
