Catifa 46 is the little sister of Catifa 53. Same sleek profile with a crisp, casual efficiency that is designed for contract use and spaces that require a slightly smaller scale. Extremely flexible, Catifa 46 further extends its range of colors, finishes, bases and accessories for customization to accommodate an almost limitless array of contract applications without altering its essential character.
Made for both residential and contract use, indoors and out, the Catifa 46 shell and base are fabricated in a diverse range of materials, colors and finishes. The shell is constructed in doublecurved plywood, mono or bi-color polypropylene, covered in leather, hardleather, fabric or finished with upholstered pads. The base comes in chrome-finish steel, satin-finish stainless steel, aluminum, powder-coated aluminum or wood, and is available in the following configurations: sled, fourlegs, trestle and five-ways. A writing tablet is available for campus or auditorium use. Catifa 46 is also available in a stool version with sled or swivel base.

The shell is available in single-color and bi-color polypropylene (ColorBi®) also with front face or cushion upholstery in leather, faux leather, fabric or customer’s fabric; upholstered shell in two grades of hard leather; fully upholstered shell in leather, faux leather, fabric or customer’s fabric; wood shell, in three color finishes, also with front face upholstery in leather, faux leather, fabric or customer’s fabric; white polypropylene shell (PO101) fitted with non-washable removable cover in fabric, customer’s fabric, leather or faux leather (the chair is provided already fitted with the cover). Optional steel armrests, also with polypropylene or upholstered support, are available upon request. The versions with polypropylene shell and painted steel or brushed stainless steel base can be used outdoors.
