A sofa by Kho Liang Ie. Restrained simplicity. Frame of pressed beech upholstered with moulded foam on a metal base. With integrated seat and back cushion.

Kho Liang le came to the Netherlands in 1949 and studied design and interior design at the Rietveld Academy. In 1958 he was appointed aesthetic consultant and designer at Artifort. Kho Liang le attracted various foreign designers and his influence is felt right up to the present day. Apart from being a celebrated furniture designer, Kho Liang le also made his name as an interior designer. His work exudes the purity, warmth and freedom with which he wishes to surround people.
