Design Alfred Homann,2022
FSC-certified teak
Made in Denmark by Carl Hansen & Son
The simple, square dining table is part of the AH Outdoor series, designed by Alfred Homann in 2022. Like the rest of the series, the table is designed with a strict aesthetic that is elegantly combined with soft, rounded details. The table can be combined with matching dining chairs from the series of outdoor furniture - with or without armrests. The dining table is made of FSC-certified teak, a hardy type of wood that patinas beautifully over time. The table seats up to four people and is also available with a double-length table top.
Simplicity, clarity, and logic were always the most important parameters for Homann, and his keen eye for details is evident in everything he designed. Homann created furniture and lighting, as well as architectural projects at museums, railway stations, private residences, and public buildings – everything with great precision and thoroughness. In 1987, Homann established Homann Design Inc. in the United States from where he worked on different projects in addition to his Copenhagen studio. He travelled the world giving lectures and presentations in the USA, Japan, Russia, and Europe. Furthermore, Homann was acknowledged with multiple international awards during his career for both design and architecture - for example the Red Dot award, IF Product Design-Award, and a Brunel Award. Alfred Homann died in 2022, 74 years old.
Dimensions: 38.8" W x 39.4" D x 29.1" H
