The new Cherner Task chair combines molded plywood and steel in a dramatic yet minimal design for the work environment. The spidery swivel base and curvaceous molded shell highlight the structural capabilities of the two materials. It is a further development of the classic molded plywood Cherner Chair. A strong, lightweight and graceful addition to the home or office, the Cherner task chair is available with or without armrests in all Cherner finishes and upholstery options

Cherner chairs and stools are available with upholstered seat pads. The seat pads are separate molded plywood shells padded with 3/4" of foam wrapped with fabric or leather options. The Upholstered pads are fabricated according Norman Cherner's original drawings and specifications. Chairs and stools can be ordered with a seat and back pad or the seat pad only.

Classic vs Natural Walnut: “Classic” Walnut products are stained with subtle walnut tint which give the chair’s beech core and walnut veneer a uniform appearance. “Natural” Walnut products have a clear finish which emphasizes the contrast between the exposed beech core and walnut face veneer.

Spinneybeck Sabrina Leather - Sabrina is full grain leather with a smooth, tight grain and suppleness of hand. This product is the favorite of clients seeking elegant, fine-grained leather for high-traffic use.

Spinneybeck Velluto Pelle Leather - is lightly enhanced aniline dyed leather. The light enhancement process refines the surface providing a supple and smooth feel. Velluto Pelle closely approximates the luxurious hand of Sabrina for price-sensitive projects.

Spinneybeck Vicenza Leather - is a corrected grain, aniline leather. Vicenza receives a special retannage which enriches the leather, tightens the grain and provides a superior hand.
