Design Charles & Ray Eames, 1958
Aluminum base, veneer or laminate top
Made by Herman Miller
Designed with an architect’s focus on stability and an artist’s eye for proportion, Eames Tables continue to be as relevant as they were at their introduction. This graceful and versatile family of tables offers a choice of sizes, top shapes and materials, bases, and power options. However they’re configured and wherever they’re used, they bear the signature Eames mark of beauty and utility in design.
Materials—Laminate tops are 7 /8" thick. Veneer tops are 3 /4" thick. Thin profile HPL tops are 1 /2" thick. Glass tops are back-painted, with a satin etch finish to reduce the appearance of fingerprints. Tops are 1 /2" thick.
Power—30" and 36" tables may only accommodate USB access. Single center cutout (CC) grommet option must be specified. Grommet option is a non-functional hole plug. For USB access, order round dual USB charging unit (ET990.) separately. 42" and 48" tables may accommodate power. Single center cutout (CC) grommet option must be specified. Grommet provides simple passthrough with wire management features and a hinged lid. For power access, order round power module (ET991.) separately.
Table Height—28 ½" high
Tops—No 2 products made of natural materials look exactly alike and they will change color with age. Veneer: The lighter the stain, the more you'll see of the grain. Santos palisander has an exuberant grain pattern; this can become a significant design element. Stone: Typical variations may include strong differences in hues, veins, and crystals. Over time, the color may fade, the surfaces become stained, and surface cracks—if not already visible at the time of purchase—may develop. These do not affect the table top structure.
Glides—Table is available with adjustable glides and casters.
Assembly—Ships ready to assemble.
