For the Fred™ Lounge Chair JH97, Spanish designer Jaime Hayon looked to classic, Danish design for inspiration. The lounge chair has a long history in Danish design and culture, and Hayon managed to combine his signature sense of design with established Danish principles to create a fresh, versatile lounge chair that is an easy classic.

The Lounge Chair JH97 fits easily into a variety of settings - home, hotel lobby, office space, etc. - and adds elegance with ease. The solid wood frame is designed to be admired from any angle, with gently rounded joints that are assembled by hand according to Danish tradition. Cushions float within the design adding lightness and intrigue. As always, comfort is key. The chair encourages upright seating and has wide, flat armrests to help the arms and hands relax. Lounge Chair JH97 combines quality craftsmanship with versatility and affordability. Mix and match frame and upholstery options to create the perfect chair for your space.

The sculpted frame of JH97 is crafted from wood that has been digitally cut, then finished and assembled by hand. Four FSC-certified frame options (black painted ash, walnut stained oak, clear lacquered oak, oiled oak) and a range of upholstery options make the Lounge Chair JH97 an anywhere chair that exudes character and craftsmanship in many style languages.
