George Nakashima is best known for his unique pieces of furniture, which are prized for their respect for the natural forms of the tree and the inherent grain of the wood. Originally designed for Knoll in the late 1940's, the Straight Chair and Splay-Leg table has just recently been reintroduced into Knoll's product line.
The N20 tray features the same aesthetic as the coffee table, constructed of solid Douglas Fir lumbar that has been quarter cut and finished in a clear, low-sheen finish.
