P3 & P3S Lounge Chair

The GUBI P3 Lounge Chair and P3S Chaise Longue, designed by Tito Agnoli in 1964 for Bonacina 1889, combine Italian modernist design with traditional rattan craftsmanship. Their sculptural silhouettes, gently curved seating surfaces, and low profiles reflect Agnoli's approach to ergonomic comfort and functional design. Reintroduced by GUBI in collaboration with Bonacina 1889, these designs preserve the character of the original pieces while bringing their distinctive forms into contemporary interiors.

Crafted from handwoven natural rattan strips secured to galvanized tubular steel frames, both models highlight the material's natural warmth, texture, and flexibility. The P3 Lounge Chair offers a relaxed, upright seating position, while the P3S Chaise Longue features an extended reclining surface for comfortable lounging. Their open construction and understated appearance make them suitable for living rooms, reading areas, and modern residential spaces.
