Paavo Tynell's 5321 table lamp is also known as the Shell lamp, thanks to its brass shade resembling a sea shell. Located right under the shell-shaped shade, the bulb is like a bright, glowing pearl. The organic appearance of the brass surfaces is complemented by a rattan-covered stem. Originally released in 1941, the 5321 lamp was inspired by nature and romance, and its simplified style also echoes influences from mid-century modernism. The luminaire is part of the Paavo Tynell collection released in 2018 by the Danish design brand Gubi.
