Ingenuity, elegance and flexibility define this postwar design classic reimagined for modern homes. A single fluid motion transforms a square work table into a round dining table for six. The 1950 B-Table was Marcel Gascoin’s innovative answer to the limitations posed by France’s compact postwar housing. Inspired by space-saving techniques typically found in boat design, Gascoin created two tables in one – a highly functional, yet beautifully refined, all-purpose solution.
Streamlined by GUBI for modern homes, the new B-Table is both elegant and flexible – ideal for the multi-tasking nature of our everyday lives, especially when space is limited. Using the clever magnetic mechanism, the shift between work, play and dining is an effortless task for one person.
Available in oak or walnut frames, the B-Table is part of a unified Gascoin collection which includes the S-Table, C-Chair and Trèfle Stool. Crafted from wood, their elegant simplicity and limitless configuration allows them to work alongside many interior styles of home or office.
