    Nelson Ball Bubble Pendant

(usually ships in 20-30 business days

    Design George Nelson, 1947
Steel skeleton, self-webbing soft plastic, nickel-plated ceiling plate
    Made by Herman Miller

The Nelson Ball Bubble Pendant is a full, perfectly round sphere that fills any interior with a warm, diffused light. A ceiling plate allows it to delicately float overhead. George Nelson was inspired by a set of silk-covered Swedish hanging lamps when he originally designed the Bubble Lamp series in 1952.

Use with up to 150 watt bulb. Light bulb not included. Hardwiring required.

    As Elemental as Light

In charming spherical silhouettes, the Nelson Bubble Lamps add a touch of softness and luminosity to interiors. The Ball Bubble Pendant is available in three sizes and its perfectly rounded form is attached to a ceiling plate with a 6 foot long cord. The prohibitive price of the original Swedish inspirations prompted Nelson to design his own in a way that made them more affordable. This timeless collection of pendants, sconces, tripods, table, and floor lamps complement contemporary interiors as easily and beautifully as they did mid-century homes.

The George Nelson Bubble Lamp collection is featured in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Herman Miller is the official site for the George Nelson Bubble Lamp® Collection.

    Dimensions:

    Small: 12" h | 12.75" dia | cord: 10' feet
    Medium: 15.5" h | 19" dia | cord: 10' feet
    Large: 23.5" h | 26.75" dia | cord: 10' feet
