In 1946, George Nelson designed a series of modular storage units that coordinate in size, shape, and design. Available with legs, the large cabinets can be used in a variety of ways.
These cabinets stand on their own, singly or in groups. Used with other cabinets in the series and with the Nelson Platform Bench, they can be positioned against a wall to create a built-in look or set up as a room divider that provides both seating and storage.
Clean profiles with functional elements make each cabinet in this collection a model of efficiency. The Basic Cabinet Series is known for its practical storage areas and handsomely designed exteriors.

The Nelson Basic Cabinete is available in 3 options:
Option One: Open Cabinet with 1 drawer.
Option Two: Closed Cabinet with a Left Hinged Door.
Option Three: Closed Cabinet with a Right Hinged Door.
The medium cabinet is available with 5 - inch black wood legs inspired by the legs of the classic Nelson Bench or without legs, designed to sit on top of the Nelson Bench.
