Harry Bertoia's 1950 experiment with bending metal rods into practical art produced a revered collection of seating, including the exquisite Bertoia bench. Innovative, comfortable and strikingly handsome, the bench's delicate appearance belies its strength and durability. The solid wood slats are pre-treated to prevent sagging or warping.

A classic, modern design that enhances any environment. Knoll is the only authorized and licensed manufacturer of the Bertoia Collection which has been in continuous production since 1952. The Bertoia bench features either painted or teak solid wood slats. The base is offered in chrome, stainless steel or painted. With proper care and preventative maintenance, benches specified with painted or stainless steel base and teak slats are appropriate for outdoor use. Bertoia bench with seat cushions includes three cushions in your choice of upholstery. Cushions, unless specified, are not suitable for outdoor use.
