Here, the studio goes discreet in the base and column to create harmony with the décor or furnishings around it. The base, column, and shade all share the same finish, adding to the design's sense of unity. The shade presents a modern take on the classic cone shade, leaving its top open for an upward stream of accenting light. Peeking below, a curved diffuser makes sure the fanned-out light at the base reaches one's eyes with a soft, glare-free quality.
