The iconic Panthella Table Lamp is among Verner Panton's most popular designs, with its organic form that mirrors Panton's playful personality and design aesthetic. Originally designed in 1971, Panthella has a hemispherical top shade that directs light downward onto the trumpet shaped base which reflects the light, providing a pleasant, glare-free light. The Panthella 320 Table Lamp has a shade that is 320 mm in diameter making it ideal for providing exceptional light in many different surroundings.
Light concept
The fixture emits a soft, comfortable, glare-free, light. The metal-shade versions direct the light directly downward, creating a pleasant illumination due to the inner white-painted shade and the reflection from the trumpet-shaped stem. The opal acrylic produces a diffused, comfortable light due to the translucent shade, the downward reflection from the inner shade, and the reflection from the trumpet-shaped stem.
