The VL 45 Radiohus Pendant Light was originally designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Radiohuset Building in Copenhagen. All the lighting for the building was created by Lauritzen, the architect, in partnership with Louis Poulsen. Due to the wide popularity of the original design, the VL 45 Radiohus Pendant Light is being reintroduced with the same original design and an LED lamping upgrade.
Each pendant is made of three layers of handblown glass, with the innermost and outermost layers made of transparent polished glass and white glass for the middle layer. The glass combination provides uniform diffused illumination while the opening at the bottom allows for direct down light. Features brass accents and a white canopy and cord. Available in two sizes making it ideal for modern kitchens, living rooms, or bedrooms. Ships with 12 feet of cord.
