    Craftsmanship and attention to detail are clear to see in Hans J. Wegner’s CH36 dining chair. The clean and simple 1962 chair is as comfortable to sit in as it is beautiful to behold.

    The CH36 dining chair by Hans J. Wegner is crafted with great attention to each detail in a simple and functional design. This 1962 design demonstrates the influence American Shaker furniture principles and craftsmanship had on Wegner’s work.

    The legs of the CH36 taper off slightly both towards the floor and, in the case of the rear legs, also towards the top, creating an elegant appearance. The backrest is significantly more curved at the top than at the bottom to optimize back support. The overall expression is completed with the frame and the seat hand-woven in durable paper cord. The chair is also available with armrests - model number CH37 - for added comfort and support.

    The natural materials and craftsmanship of the CH36 chair by Hans J. Wegner will add warmth and atmosphere to any space.
