Continuing an English tradition that dates back to the 18th century, the Fine Bone China shades are slip-cast and molded by hand, then subsequently biscuit fired for optimal translucency when lit. Complemented with a smartly detailed aluminum structure, the comforting and flattering light can be adjusted for task lighting purposes.

Founded in 1990 by Peter Bowles, Original BTC is a lighting company rooted in national pride, manufacturing classic and industrial British design for contemporary homes. Encouraging local enterprise, all products are exclusively produced in the UK, utilizing factories in Oxford, Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent to hand-produce and assemble the fine bone china, aluminum and lighting components used in Original BTC fixtures.
