Design Alfred Homann, 2022
FSC-certified teak,Foam
Made in Denmark by Carl Hansen & Son
The AH502 Outdoor Dining Chair was designed by Alfred Homann in 2022 as part of the AH Outdoor series, characterized by strict lines elegantly combined with soft, rounded details. With slightly inclined armrests, seat and back, the chair offers high comfort. It can be combined with one of the dining tables from the series of outdoor furniture. The chair is made of FSC-certified teak, is stackable and is also available without armrests. Cushions sold separately.
Upholstered in Agora Life textile, a recycled and waterproof fabric, the back cushion is designed to add extra comfort to AH501 and AH502. The fabric has a fluorine free finish and a high degree of durability. Available in the color Oat
Simplicity, clarity, and logic were always the most important parameters for Homann, and his keen eye for details is evident in everything he designed. Homann created furniture and lighting, as well as architectural projects at museums, railway stations, private residences, and public buildings – everything with great precision and thoroughness. In 1987, Homann established Homann Design Inc. in the United States from where he worked on different projects in addition to his Copenhagen studio. He travelled the world giving lectures and presentations in the USA, Japan, Russia, and Europe. Furthermore, Homann was acknowledged with multiple international awards during his career for both design and architecture - for example the Red Dot award, IF Product Design-Award, and a Brunel Award. Alfred Homann died in 2022, 74 years old.
Dimensions: 24.8" W x 21.5" D x 31.9" H | Seat: 17.7" H
