String Freestanding Shelf - Galvanized Back Panel

    Designed by Nils Strinning

The String System is a Scandinavian shelving system designed to make all your storage problems go away. Build the shelf of your dreams by designing your own unique combination, mixing metal shelves, wooden shelves, and colorful elements––the possibilities are endless.

The back panel is part of the free-standing outdoor shelf. Made of Aluzinc, combine the back panel with two uprights and two galvanized floor panels for a versatile outdoor storage solution. View all galvanized parts here.

The String Shelving System is well known for its distinctive wire panels, first introduced by architects Nisse Strinning and Kajsa Strinning back in 1949 as part of a competition to design a shelf that was affordable, easy to ship, and easy to assemble. In the 1950s and 1960s, String was installed in the UN Headquarters offices in New York.

    Material: Aluzinc sheet

    Dimensions: 34.3"H
