    String Coat Hangers

    Designed by Nils Strinning

The String System is a Scandinavian shelving system designed to make all your storage problems go away. Build the shelf of your dreams by designing your own unique combination, mixing metal shelves, wooden shelves, and colorful elements––the possibilities are endless.

Complete your wardrobe or hallway storage solution with this set of four coat hangers. Each hanger features an extra wire thread, making it possible to hang several clothing items on one hanger.

The String Shelving System is well known for its distinctive wire panels, first introduced by architects Nisse Strinning and Kajsa Strinning back in 1949 as part of a competition to design a shelf that was affordable, easy to ship, and easy to assemble. In the 1950s and 1960s, String was installed in the UN Headquarters offices in New York.

    Material: Powder-coated steel (fine textured)

    Dimensions: 16.1"W x 10.2"H
