String Metal Shelf with Low Edge - Galvanized

Designed by Nils Strinning

The String System is a Scandinavian shelving system designed to make all your storage problems go away. Build the shelf of your dreams by designing your own unique combination, mixing metal shelves, wooden shelves, and colorful elements––the possibilities are endless.

The Galvanized Metal Shelves are designed for outdoor use. Create a minimal shelving system with low-edge shelves, or mix with high-edge shelves for visual interest. Designed to fit into the galvanized floor and wall panels, they're easy to move around. Made with galvanized steel, your outdoor shelf will be ready to face any weather and can stay outside year-round.  See all Galvanized components here.

The String Shelving System is well known for its distinctive wire panels, first introduced by architects Nisse Strinning and Kajsa Strinning back in 1949 as part of a competition to design a shelf that was affordable, easy to ship, and easy to assemble. In the 1950s and 1960s, String was installed in the UN Headquarters offices in New York.

Material: Aluzinc sheet

Dimensions:22.8"W x 0.8"H x 11.8"D
