The String System is a Scandinavian shelving system designed to make all your storage problems go away. Build the shelf of your dreams by designing your own unique combination, mixing metal shelves, wooden shelves, and colorful elements––the possibilities are endless.
The Tiny Cabinet provides hidden storage that opens to provide a small surface for drinks or other items. Fitting with all 11.8"D wire panels, the Tiny Cabinet must be placed atop a String wooden shelf or cabinet. The inside of the lid features a brushed stainless steel plate.
is available in one size with the following dimensions: w28 x d30 x h38 cm. The cabinet fits together with all 30 cm deep wire panels from String® System. The cabinet needs to be placed on top of either a wooden shelf or one of our cabinets and attached to either wire panel. The inside of the lid is dressed in a plate in brushed stainless steel. The inner back wall of the cabinet is dressed in a mirrored plate. The cabinet is delivered unassembled.
The String Shelving System is well known for its distinctive wire panels, first introduced by architects Nisse Strinning and Kajsa Strinning back in 1949 as part of a competition to design a shelf that was affordable, easy to ship, and easy to assemble. In the 1950s and 1960s, String was installed in the UN Headquarters offices in New York.

Veneered particleboard. The surface is treated with a clear lacquer with gloss 5.
