Fredericia's Yksi is a wooden chair with classic elegance and modern edge. Made of oiled oak, the Yksi chair combines an A-shaped base structure with curved seat and backrest. Released in 2018, Yksi is a result of Danish-Finnish collaboration: it was designed by Jakob Thau from Denmark and Sami Kallio from Finland. The designers share a passion for precise craftsmanship and a curious attitude towards new design and materials. Yksi, Finnish for "one", is an excellent chair by a dining table at homes and restaurants, and its simple yet distinctive appearance makes it a great choice for living rooms, lounge areas and offices, too.
