Made in Denmark by Louis Poulsen
Verner Panton created Panthella in collaboration with Louis Poulsen in 1971. Today, Panthella is recognised as one of Panton’s most significant design icons with its recognisable organic shape. The top shade directs the exceptional glare-free light downward, so it in turn is reflected by the trumpet shaped base. The Panthella 250 Portable Lamp is a portable version of the popular Panthella Table Lamp, with a shade that has a diameter of 250 mm.
Light concept
This portable table lamp emits a glare-free, soft, and comfortable light. The opaque shade variants reflects the light downwards and provides pleasant illumination created by the inner white painted shade and the reflection from the trumpet-shaped stem. The opal variants provides gentle illumination and subtle ambience due to the transparency and the reflection of the downward light on the inner side of the shade.
Materials
Shade: Injection molded acrylic. Base and Housing: Die cast aluminum. Diffuser: Injection molded opal PMMA.
Finish: White opal acrylic shade with white stand.
