    Panton Move Table

    *****USUALLY SHIPS IN 10-12 WEEKS*****

    Design Verner Panton, 1972
Powder coated metal frame, MDF with Fenix nanotech
Made in Denmark by VerPan ApS.

More than 40 years ago, Verner Panton was struggling with some of the same issues that we have today; how to make a table both simple, sturdy and flexible. Panton wanted the quintessential table - a top and four legs, one in each corner - but he also wanted it to be easy to knock-down and he wanted it to be flexible once assembled.

The idea for the Move table came to Panton when he had his own studio in Basel. At the time Verner Panton's studio was quite large and very busy and there was no room for an extra table in the office. To solve the problem, he just put lockable castors on all four legs of his desk, and the Move table was born. This way, whenever visitors came to see him, Panton would simply Move the table to the center of the room and everyone could stand around the table and see what Panton wanted to show them.

    Dimensions: 78.7" L | 37.4" d | 30.1" h | assembly required
