The EUR stool designed by Fabio Novembre was inspired by the extraordinary architecture of the Eur business district in Rome, in particular the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana. The symmetrical, straight-lined design language is clearly recognised in the stool, whose name stands for Esposizione Universale di Roma. In Mussolini's will, the 1942 World's Fair was to take place in EUR under the motto of Olimpiade delle Civiltà (Olympiad of Cultures). To this day, the district stands for outstanding Italian architecture of the 20th century.

The cube-shaped stool is made of a solid piece of thermoplastic technopolymer that features numerous recesses reminiscent of individual windows. The stool has a certain lightness that fits perfectly into any environment. Thanks to its graphic, almost sculptural appearance, the stool has a modern effect and can be used as a side table, shelf, foot stool, or alternative seating when needed.

Dimensions: 14.1" w | 14.1" d | 17.75" h | 8.8 lbs.
