Manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent, artisans follow a meticulous process that dates back centuries, casting and firing the fine bone china before it reaches the desired translucence once lit. Suspended from a matching bone china canopy and a black fabric cord, the elegance of the silhouette is only matched by the flattering ambient and down light that glows through the shade.

Founded in 1990 by Peter Bowles, Original BTC is a lighting company rooted in national pride, manufacturing classic and industrial British design for contemporary homes. Encouraging local enterprise, all products are exclusively produced in the UK, utilizing factories in Oxford, Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent to hand-produce and assemble the fine bone china, aluminum and lighting components used in Original BTC fixtures.
