Introduced in 1946, the Nelson Platform Bench remains a landmark of modern design. Clean, rectilinear lines reflect designer's George Nelson's architectural background and his insistence on making an honest visual statement about an object's purpose - or with this piece, multipurpose. The platform bench can be used for seating, as a display platform, or as a low table for magazines. Two benches placed together make a wonderful coffee table.
The bench is available in three widths and features a solid maple top with clear-coat finish and two ebonized legs.
Cushions are also available in either a felt or leather
