    Nelson Triple Bubble Lamp Fixture

***** USUALLY SHIPS IN   20-30 business days ****

    Design George Nelson, 1952
Steel skeleton, self-webbing soft plastic, solid walnut, nickel
    Made by Herman Miller

    Designer: George Nelson
Part of the Nelson Bubble Lamp series, the Nelson Triple Bubble Lamp Fixture provides the structure to hold a playful trio of Bubble Lamps, sold separately. When equipped with shades, the assemblage brings light and playfulness to any space. George Nelson, inspired by a set of silk-covered Swedish hanging lamps, designed the series in 1952.

    As Elemental as Light

In charming spherical silhouettes, the Nelson Bubble Lamps add a touch of softness and luminosity to interiors. This particular fixture allows the combination of three different Bubble Lamps, creating a charming installation of pendant lights. It is recommended that the pendants chosen should not exceed 19 inches in diameter. The Bubble Lamps were first designed in 1952, when Nelson was impressed by a set of Swedish hanging lamps. Their prohibitive price prompted Nelson to design his own, and the result was this timeless collection of pendants, sconces, tripods, table, and floor lamps that complement contemporary interiors as easily and beautifully as they did mid-century homes.

Distance between metal rods & walnut balls: 14.5" inches
Pendants should not exceed 19" inches in diameter
UL rated | 150 watt max | 60W max for small saucer | each lamp includes 10' feet of cord
