The Nuances Curve rug is made with an innovative type of felt, which simulates the texture of a stone, reminiscent of granite. Developed by designer Patricia Urquiola and GAN, it can be made in a variety of shades. This particular model presents a large gray area with a dynamic combination of straight stripes and curves. As a subtle decorative detail, the seams are hand embroidered with viscose. You can add a pouf in the same tones, as a casual seat, or continue the design by adding the Line and Round models next to it.

Patricia Urquiola is an architect and designer of Spanish origin who settled in Italy after graduating from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1989. After working with Italian masters of design such as Achille Castiglioni and Vico Magistretti, she founded her own studio in 2001. Since then, she has tackled very diverse projects, from furniture and lighting to the integral design of hotels. Her sensitivity to traditional handmade objects and international cooperation in the field of handmade productions led to the start of a fruitful collaboration in 2004 with GAN, which continues to this day.

Nuances was developed, from the beginning, with a sustainability goal in mind, aiming at reusing and giving a second life to leftover materials from other productions, which would otherwise end in landfill or damage the environment. Nuances are available in different styles. The Lines collection is offered in various color combinations.
