The String System is a Scandinavian shelving system designed to make all your storage problems go away. Build the shelf of your dreams by designing your own unique combination, mixing metal shelves, wooden shelves, and colorful elements––the possibilities are endless.
The Work Desk is easy to adjust to your preferred height. Perfect in an office, kitchen, hallway, or any other room where you need a work surface. Each Work Desk comes with a ledge and brackets to place against the wall and stabilize it.
The String Shelving System is well known for its distinctive wire panels, first introduced by architects Nisse Strinning and Kajsa Strinning back in 1949 as part of a competition to design a shelf that was affordable, easy to ship, and easy to assemble. In the 1950s and 1960s, String was installed in the UN Headquarters offices in New York.
Materials
Wood options: Veneered particleboard. The surface is treated with a clear lacquer with gloss 5. | White/Beige/Grey: Lacquered MDF with gloss 35.
