The Tolomeo LED lamp series offer direct lighting with an array of 5 LEDs (10W power consumption) with a fully adjustable, articulated arm structure in extruded aluminum with joints and tension control knobs in polished die-cast aluminum and tension cables in stainless steel. The diffuser is offered in stamped, anodized matte aluminum, rotatable 360º on lampholder with choice of wall mount.
Michele De Lucchi was born in 1951 in Ferrara and graduated in architecture in Florence. During the period of radical and experimental architecture he was a prominent figure in movements like Cavart, Alchymia and Memphis. De Lucchi has designed lamps and furniture for well known Italian and European companies. The firm's philosophy is rooted in the search for deep interaction between architectural thinking, industrial design and global communication.
Tolomeo LED version is offered with a type 'S' wall bracket which is only suitable for plug-in application to wall outlet (cannot be hardwired to junction box) and is available in three sizes:
tolomeo micro: 29.1" max extension | 40% smaller than classic, on/off on cord
tolomeo mini: 43.7" max extension | 20% smaller than classic, on/off on body
tolomeo classic: 51.6" max extension | full size, on/off on body
