Since 1967 Gubi has been contributing the modern design furniture movement thanks to the efforts of husband and wife team Gubi and Lisbeth Larson. The Danish design house has achieved a worldwide influence and is recognized for blurring the lines between the design of the past and present with pieces intended to grab attention, promote discussion, and innovate.  Today the company is also known for its many talented designers including late Danish architect Henning Larsen and late Swedish designer Greta M. Grossman.

Gubi’s collection of furniture includes accessories, lighting, seating, storage, and tables.  Some of the company’s notable accessories include the Adnet Circulaire Mirror by Jacques Adnet, the highly flexible and curiously named Demon Shelf by Mathieu Mategot, and the Mategot Dedal Bookshelf made of perforated metal.  Gubi’s selection of lighting is extensive and includes the BL10 Wall Lamp designed by Robert Dudley Best which once sat in former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill’s desk.

One of Gubi’s most distinctive tables is the Aoyama Lounge and Dining Tables designed by Paul Leroy known for their striking, attention grabbing column.  The Copacabana Chair designed by Mathieu Mategot is another unusual piece featuring a tubular frame surrounding a round seat.

These products are only a small sample of the many items available for purchase as part of our Gubi collection.  We sell many different modern home furniture products as well as pieces by other famous modern home furniture designers and brands.  Call 800.605.1859 for more information or to speak with a Gubi furniture expert.
