Design Piero Lissoni, 2011
Batch dyed polypropylene, aluminum
Made in Italy by Kartell
Audrey is not just a simple chair. It belongs to an eclectic, multifunctional "contaminating" family that can go everywhere: indoor and outdoor, office, home and contract. All sharing the same DNA but with slight differences to adapt to various uses. Audrey is a versatile contemporary chair with clean and simple lines thanks to the lightness and resistance of its die-cast aluminium frame. This is the first time a single piece, with or without armrests, has been thus cast.
After receiving his degree in architecture form the Milan Polytecnic, Piero Lissoni worked as a furniture designer before founding his own studio in 1986, specializing in architecture, interior and graphic design. He has collaborated with furniture companies, worked on a number of architecture projects in Japan and worked on design projects that have included a shopping center, an art gallery, a Cordon Bleu cooking school, logos and trademarks. He has received numerous awards including the Chicago Athenaeum 2002 Good Design ®Award for the Divina collection.
Audrey features a seat and back of plastic in various colors and the aluminium structure available in either shiny aluminum or painted white or black. Audrey side chair stacks five high.
Dimensions: 20.5" w | 20.1" d | 30.3" h | seat: 18.1" h
