An elegant dining chair that is often used as a conference chair and in churches. CH46 is with armrests, and CH47 is without armrests. The seat is hand woven in high-quality paper cord and is available in natural or black cord. Designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1965.

The 1965 design of the CH46 chair perfectly showcases Hans J. Wegner’s affinity for functional, elegant simplicity. The CH46 is inspired by the American Shaker movement from the 1800s, the characteristics of which are recognized globally as one of the attributes of Scandinavian design.

The round legs establish an organic frame for the entire chair. The straight seat, narrow armrests and simple back slats provide minimalistic contrast to the frame.
