A practical design with a distinctly British personality, the Original BTC lighting Cobb Rise & Fall Pendant features handcrafted Fine Bone China and a smart suspension system. Solely manufactured in England, the ceramic shade has a translucent quality achieved through a meticulous hand-casting and firing process, putting forth a flattering task oriented light. A counterweight adjustor—also made of Fine Bone China—steadies the desired suspension height, varying between concentrated down light to more general illumination.
Founded in 1990 by Peter Bowles, Original BTC is a lighting company rooted in national pride, manufacturing classic and industrial British design for contemporary homes. Encouraging local enterprise, all products are exclusively produced in the UK, utilizing factories in Oxford, Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent to hand-produce and assemble the fine bone china, aluminum and lighting components used in Original BTC fixtures.
