The pair was originally introduced in 1956, and--like all classics--has only gotten better with age. Both pieces are hand-assembled with great attention to detail. Shells are seven-ply veneer faced with cherry, walnut or santos palisander--a richly grained veneer that looks like the Brazilian rosewood used on the original chair, but is a sustainable alternative.
Available in your choice of Walnut, Natural Cherry, Oiled Walnut, Santos Palisander or Oiled Santos Palisander Veneer.
You can also purchase a Herman Miller's eames lounge chair or eames ottoman separately.
