In 1991, he graduated from the Art Center Europe in Switzerland with a distinction in Industrial Design. After winning the Seiko Epson competition in Japan, Levy focused on his career as a professional designer and participated in several design exhibitions. Upon returning to Europe, Levy introduced his ideas, innovative concepts and installations to contemporary dance and opera set design applications staged around the world.

From his Paris-based company L design and together with his partner Pippo Lionni and their team of designers, Levy develops projects in industrial, interior and graphic design for the European and international market.
